It’s my last market of the year on Sunday and I’ll be bringing my new work. There is still a selection of functional pieces available and also sculptural pieces like this one from my Shaped by Loss edition.
Using the Japanese kurinuki technique to shape the form this piece reflects the themes of loss - what is taken from us and what remains, what is worn away and then revealed.
