Many of you know I have a 9-5 (on a good day lol) and then, I have a 5-9. I publicly started the @dreamernextdoor journey last April and it officially became a 501(c)(3) last August. I never would’ve guessed that it would have garnered so much attention and reverence so quickly. I thank God and pray that I continue to build it to fulfill His work.

I’m grateful to be recognized as part of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2020 #40Under40 class alongside so many talented individuals, many of whom I’ve had the privilege of getting to know personally and all of whom I know are so deserving.

I’m kind of nervous about how amazing 2020 has been to me already. But, I’m so ready for what this new year, and new decade, has in store.

That said, I completely agree with the @milwaukeebusinessjournal ; I, along with others on and not on this list, am absolutely one of the “Black Leaders You Should Know.” Get to know us if you don’t already.

My hope is that lists like these foster intentionality around connectivity and collaboration within our community.

I’m honored to be named to the BizTimes Class of 2026 “Notable Leaders in Law.”
This recognition is particularly meaningful to me because my career is what has enabled me to pour into the things that matter to me, like my community. Excellence in my profession is not optional; it is always the standard for me, and I take this standard deeply personal.
