The film opens on a distant, brooding silhouette of Mumbai—its towers rising like jagged thoughts against a sky bruised with the last traces of humanity. The city glows not with warmth but with a kind of restless awareness, millions of windows and headlights flickering like unanswered questions. Below, the sea moves in slow, dark breaths, whispering secrets it has kept for too long. In this suspended moment, Mumbai looks both ancient and newborn, a place where ambition and guilt share the same oxygen. It is a city wide awake, and watching.

Directed 2nd Unit for this lovely PSA campaign for Signature couple of months back and it was a special journey to be in Odisha away from the city bustle. Thanks to our lovely director @mishaghose for this one. And our producer @prianca.j . @swaraj_sriwastav ‘s inquisitiveness did rub off on me as we shot across the swamps of Odisha to find the mangroves planted around by the villagers of Astrangal. Also came across the beautiful music project @the.laya.project@thelayaproject which was our music director @abhishekaroramusic ‘s reccomendation to use as reference for the film’s score. We recorded the women of Astrangal to breathe life into the film.
