My favorite is the first shot. With the crowd at Cherry Hill, I stepped under the branches just to be, to stand beneath this tree and watch it come alive for a second that felt like mine. That’s when I found the robin.

One of the Park’s best spring bloom destinations, densely planted with Yoshino cherry trees. 
🌸 Cherry Hill
Known for Yoshino cherries and one of the most iconic blossom views in the Park. 
🌸 Reservoir, east side
The Conservancy notes Yoshino cherries here too, making this one of the best longer walking stretches for blooms. 
🌸 Reservoir, west side by 90th Street
This is where the deep pink Kanzan flowering cherries are concentrated. 
🌸 Sheep Meadow, west side
One of the official locations for weeping higan cherry trees. 
🌸 Cedar Hill
Another official cherry blossom location, including weeping higan cherries. 
🌸 Conservatory Garden
Officially listed for weeping higan cherries too, and one of the prettiest more formal spring settings in the Park. 
🌸 Great Lawn, southwest corner
The Conservancy says the most impressive collection of weeping higan cherries is here.
