Hi guys!! It’s been months since I’ve showed my face. I’ve seen new followers (and a few goners- ha!) and thought I’d re introduce myself.
Name is Bailey, I live here in Ottawa. I’ve just returned
home from Mexico, after taking a long break to heal from surgery, and escape winter. I have a unique, and always evolving studio on the main level of my home. My passion is making people feel seen and heard, and I’m really good at hair *cue hair flip* so BONUSSSSS. The pups are almost always here, so if you dislike dogs I’m sorry- not the place for you lol
I’m passionate about giving you a great haircut that fits your lifestyle (stop calling yourself “lazy”- you’re low maintenance gurl) 👏 we have careers 👏 we have children 👏
Id say one of my super powers is cutting hair in a way that makes it more a part of your life and not just box to tick when getting ready (aka spending an hour on your hair) another super power of mine is recommending the right products to use, and how to use them efficiently so your investment can last a LONG time. I say stop fighting where the hair wants to live- and cut it so it looks optimal where it wants to live, with little effort. Sounds good, right?
I do a TON of research before I invest on a product line to sell in my studio. I pride myself on only using non toxic, concentrated, organic, and synthetic fragrance free products. No chemical headaches here folks! I’m currently working on some very cool things behind the curtain right now. Lots to share when the time is right.
Ok back to hair… then there is the editorial and bridal part of my passions that is soooo opposite of a low maintenance situation Lol
It’s all about duality- I love a cut that took one hour to do——But takes 5-15 minutes to make look amazing every day. (Instead of the haircut that took 5 minutes but you need an hour and a half to style)
My studio reflects my personality, my energy, my passions, and my artistry. It’s my cozy place where I create and have fun. It also feels like this sacred space where you can leave feeling a bit softer, hard to explain. But IYKYK 🕉️

I can’t say enough about Bailey. I met her once before the shoot when she cut @made_by_meggy ’s hair and immediately felt like I knew her forever. Welcoming, wise, silly and serious. I can tell why she’s a staple in the Ottawa hair scene. You don’t just get a great hairstylist you get a really great friend.
Her home studio is professional and styled beautifully, but the two dogs that greet you at the door and the little glimpse into the rest of the house in the back reminds you that you’re also a guest in her space and it makes it feel all the more special and unique.

Just an appreciation post for your tender, real, unmasked, vulnerable, brave, beautiful, strong, whimsical selves. I’m so fortunate to know you all, and to be so intimately involved in all of your lives . Thank you 🙏🏻 I do not take your business for granted. I know you could go anywhere. Thank you all so much for doing *life* with me. I don’t socialize outside of work very much at all, because you all fill my cup. Seriously. I can’t wait to feel energized and optimal, and come back in the spring blades a swingin!

ANNA + AIDAN ✨ Some weddings just feel like they’re stitched right into the fabric of family history — and Anna & Aidan’s was one of them. ✨
Married on his family’s estate, they took photos under the same tree where his parents said their vows, honoured her roots, and created new traditions of their own with everyone they love gathered under one tent.
Every piece of the day was so thoughtfully designed — from the gorgeous florals and stationery to the design elements and little details that made the whole celebration feel like them.
From the cottages where they got ready, to exchanging private letters by the water, to a joyful tassa entrance and speeches that had everyone both crying and cracking up — it was the kind of day that reminds you why weddings matter so much.
And then of course… the dance floor. Pure joy, pure chaos, pure magic. A night no one wanted to end. 🤍
