For nearly three decades Dustin has built a career as both a solo artist exploring Americana and as the vocalist and guitarist for @thrice . His songwriting and distinctive voice have made him a highly respected and recognizable artist within the post-hardcore and alternative rock scenes.
When he reached out to us, he expressed he’d been searching for the right combination of tone and aesthetic and that he’d found it with Iris. We immediately got to work and recently completed three custom 12-fret acoustics for him: an OG, an RCM-000 and a DF. We’re honored to be a part of his creative process and can’t wait to hear what comes next.

Every bridge pin on an Iris guitar is hand-fit during our set up process. Our standard pins are off-white plastic with a 3° taper, .202" shaft diameter and a 0.070" string slot. If you ever swap them out, keep in mind that pins from other manufacturers may fit differently due to slight production variances. Our team is always happy to help if you're unsure about compatibility.
