I'm headed through the ca delta with flotsam river circus. It feels alternatively bittersweet and exciting to spend time on this waterway. I'm from galt, ca, a very conservative little central valley farming town. I wish i had had the opportunity to connect with the delta bioregion in this way earlier in my life. I'm so grateful to have it now. To bring circus to the place where I was born

One Night only Summer Solstice celebration featuring a score of solos, duets, and ensemble performances created onsite at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Artists perform with the setting sun, the sea, and the shore as their backdrop.
A master artist of extraordinary innovation and influence, San Francisco Bay Area choreographer, poet, and teacher Sara Shelton Mann brings her expansive vision to FMCAC in this 21-day activation of the campus – culminating in a summer solstice performance debut of scores in development for 20 years. Join Mann and her collaborators as they embark on an open residency in celebration of nature’s wisdom, experimental dance pedagogy, and physical gathering to find our place in the world at this unprecedented time.
Mann’s residency unfolds through an open process of experimental performance-making as an incredible team of artists – dancers @ori.diwata , @gabriele.mov , @weird_little_sister , @clarissadyas , @gizzeh , @goudieaverill , @ain_eliz_tharp , @jessezaritt , and filmmaker @torilawrenceco – collaborate with Mann to and contruct art installations.
