đź’ĄTHIS IS HUGEđź’Ą Amidst ever-increasing abortion restrictions in the U.S., new research commissioned by Ipas shows nine in 10 Americans oppose total abortion bans. Ipas worked with Eden Stanley to conduct broad public opinion research involving 4,000 U.S. adults and covering values, behaviors, demographics and attitudes. This research confirms what the public already knows: the majority of Americans do NOT support abortion bans. We will be sharing resources and key takeaways from this research over the coming weeks. Be sure to save and share what could be useful for you and your community. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #abortion #health #abortionishealthcare #prochoice #abortionrights #reprorights #womensrights #feminism #mybodymychoice #feminist #stopthebans #reproductiverights #keepabortionsafeandlegal #reproductivejustice #humanrights #abortionaccess #choice #reproductivehealth #abortionisawomansright #socialjustice #reproductiverightsarehumanrights #abortionisessential #abortionisahumanright #bansoffmybody

Abortion is health care—but access is shaped by language, immigration status, and who is believed and supported when they walk through a clinic door. In “Three Honduran women,” organizer, writer and researcher Edith Romero honors the chosen family and immigrant community who held her through her abortion when systems—and sometimes even family ties—fell short. -——— We know art is essential in times of resistance, and intersectional issues like reproductive justice require creative solutions. We have commissioned nine creative storytellers from our global community, who believe in reproductive justice and bodily autonomy, to share their personal stories of resilience.

IPAS Indonesia, as part of the IPAS network, is at Women Deliver, working alongside partners to advance reproductive justice across diverse contexts. Together with feminist movements, health providers, advocates, and communities, we are strengthening women centered reproductive health care. Women Deliver is more than a conference. It’s a strategic moment to align around shared feminist direction, reclaim power, and deliver real-world outcomes.

How is your reproductive health impacted by climate change? We’ve asked hundreds of people around the world this question, as our researchers work to understand exactly how and why climate disasters harm people’s reproductive health—and what we can do about it. This Earth Day, we’re sharing 3 key impacts we’ve heard over and over again. Ultimately, our research shows that climate change diminishes people’s ability to control when, whether and how to have children. The climate crisis is a reproductive justice crisis. It’s important we all understand this connection. Then we can demand our communities prioritize climate-resilient reproductive health care that meets everyone’s needs—even when disasters strike. What does it take to counter a movement that’s actively recruiting the next generation? New research from the joint report Future-Proofing: The Professionalization of an Anti-Rights Youth Generation shows how young people are being recruited, trained, and mobilised to drive anti-rights agendas globally. On the 30th of April, we’re turning that insight into action in our Women Deliver strategy lab. Together, we’ll: ✔️ Break down how youth recruitment and radicalisation pipelines actually function ✔️ Analyse real-world examples of youth recruitment and extract actionable lessons ✔️ Co-create a Digital Solutions Blueprint for youth-led resistance that is practical, scalable, and grounded in real organising contexts 🛠️ Disrupting Indoctrination: How Youth Movements Can Resist Anti-Rights Networks 🗓️ 09:30–11:00 | Room 106 👉 Register now using the link in our bio, or go to luma.com/disrrupt to sign up! #wd2026 #womendeliver

We’re continuing our Unbreakable Threads series with "Dalit daughters demand justice" by Rakshya Khadgi. We’re honored to share her essay that confronts how caste, gender and poverty determine whose suffering is acknowledged and whose lives are treated as disposable. ---------- We know art is essential in times of resistance, and intersectional issues like reproductive justice require creative solutions. We have commissioned nine creative storytellers from our global community, who believe in reproductive justice and bodily autonomy, to share their personal stories of resilience.

Advancing reproductive justice requires more than advocacy; it demands a fundamental shift in how we value and fund the movement. While chronic underinvestment has long restricted the reach of essential services, a new era of collaborative philanthropy is bridging the gap between grassroots vision and systemic change. In our recent virtual event with The Audacious Project, Dr. Anu Kumar, president and CEO of @ipasorg , highlighted how reproductive and bodily autonomy serve as the foundation for gender equality, economic opportunity, and civic participation. Large-scale investments allow organizations such as Ipas to move beyond fragmented efforts, instead implementing the comprehensive, system-level solutions needed to protect and expand reproductive justice for all. We're proud to share the third piece in "Unbreakable Threads: Stories of reproductive justice," a series of poems from Ana Karen Flores. This series, "Gorditas de AzĂşcar", is rooted in the resilience of her abuelitas, weaving themes of inherited survival, collective resistance, and ancestral strength. Flores is a first-generation Latina poet, activist, and storyteller who explores the intersections of pop culture, advocacy, and community power. Born and raised in Texas, her work amplifies Latinx voices and centers the fight for collective liberation. ---------- We know art is essential in times of resistance, and intersectional issues like reproductive justice require creative solutions. We have commissioned nine creative storytellers from our global community, who believe in reproductive justice and bodily autonomy, to share their personal stories of resilience.

For almost 20 years, we've been researching abortion stigma, its widespread impacts, and the best ways to fight it. What have we found? The evidence is clear: Stigma is not inevitable, and it can be dismantled!!
