"порочен кръг: velocity-accelerate-viscosity-intensity-"
the third and final publication in the time&place series. it follows a run-on text alongside childhood images, illustration and found media, trying to make sense of the turbulent relationship between memory, perception and self.
printed using heat-transfer onto silicone sheets, the ink rapidly spreads through the material until the images and text become too faint to recognise. due to a difference in pressure during printing, certain pages remain readable, while the ones next to them fully fade. thus leaving behind bits and pieces which will never be able to fully describe the whole they once belonged to.
although it was made last, this one is the least patient and fastest of the books to disappear.

"time&place" pt. 2 - place
a book about the home as a contradictory place where one goes to heal and simultaneously experience the roughest parts of illness. a place which documents all that happens to us, every stain and tear on the fabrics around us becomes a sign of neglect and carelessness for the self.
printed using dissolvent transfer onto second-hand lace, with a 3-color woven cover and bound by a silk ribbon. the ribbon can be untied at any time, and the pages can be used to set a table for a shared meal with loved ones, in so changing the home from a place for isolation and solitude into a place for care. as time progresses and the book is used more and more, stains will begin to cover the various texts and illustrations.
at the time of scanning the book had been used twice. some wine and ash stains are visible.

"time&place"
a book all about the passage of time and the worries which come with it, printed fully on 1cm metallic sheets and bound with a pink satin ribbon
as time goes on, the metal will rust, and the ink will continue to erode, ultimately changing the images and leaving behind an illegible bundle of scraps. nonetheless, for now, it continues to exist as is
