Lovely new release incoming from @fionnmacd aka FEON on 29th May. You can listen to the single "Cosmic Cathedral" on Bandcamp by hitting the link in bio ☝️ Audio clips of all tracks can be found on SoundCloud too... again, link in bio for those. It's a beautiful release, and one with a personal history for both Fionn and I. You can read more about that in the Bandcamp description. It goes out to Keith...I hope he can hear it 💚🧡💛

Some out of print releases have been listed on the Invisible Inc bandcamp. Yesterday a box was returned to me of some older stock that I'd sent Alexis Le-Tan for a pop-up shop in the @oddityradio.fm / @oddityparis gallery that they'd set up in Paris. Mostly it's items that I have here already but amongst them are two copies of the Puma & The Dolphin 12" and 3 copies of Sordid Sound System's "Cape Perpetua", which haven't been available for some time. I also found a sealed copy of the Double Geography - Indoor Gardener LP last week, so that has been listed too. You can find these by hitting the link to Bandcamp up in the bio! Happy hunting GK

Dear supporters of INC It's been a while. Thanks to everyone who's bought and played the @gamma_knife_machine Voyager Dubs EP...it seems to be going down well. In other news, some special offers lined up for you. Back in 2020, during COVID lockdown when people had a bit more disposable income, Invisible Inc noticed a surge in demand, in particular for more downbeat home listening more so than the clubbier sound of the label (clubs were closed anyway) and so this musical direction was explored further and it was possible to press up LPs in 500 units and they would sell. Over the course of the following years, 2021-2023, the "cost of living crisis" started setting in and impacting everyone...and sales started to resemble normal pre-covid levels again. During this period, three LPs were pressed in 500 units: INVINC 30 (Veslemes), INVINC 31 (Tagliabue) with the last of them being INVINC 33 (Secret Circuit). However, as amazing as all these albums are, there are still copies sitting here at INVINC HQ. All of them are special in their own way...so in case they were missed by some newer (or older) fans, or belts were being tightened, it seems appropriate to promote these remaining copies to tempt some listeners to check them out and try and get them out there to a welcoming home. With that in mind, the Veslemes 2x12" and Tagliabue LP are now listed for £10 (both originally retailing for £16) and the Secret Circuit 2xLP is down to £18 (originally retailing for £24). Check them out...you will find something you love in there if you haven't already: secretcircuit.bandcamp.com/album/green-mirror josephtagliabue.bandcamp.com/album/un-altra-forma-di-vibrazioni veslemes.bandcamp.com/album/apolithoma ...or find the link to Bandcamp in the bio Enjoy your Sunday. Out today, not strictly a completely new release, but a collection of previously existing dub mixes by label pilot @gamma_knife_machine gathered here in one place for the first time. Two of the tracks appeared on Invisible Inc releases by @tylumnus and Higamos Hogamos whilst the other two appeared on @luridmusic and @electric.shapes Big thanks to both those labels and to Ty Lumnus, @anatolian_weapons @komodo_kolektif and @aleksandr_lukaciov Link in the Invisible Inc bio to the EP on Bandcamp

Coloured vinyl vs black vinyl in 2026. The debate seems to continue but IMHO it could have been laid to rest a decade ago as advancements in pressing technologies and vinyl formulae improved. Pictured are 4 coloured vinyl editions that were released on Invisible Inc over the years: log(m) & Laraaji - Onrush 1st pressing on transparent with green splatter Sordid Sound System - Cape Perpetua on black & transparent red “Colour-in colour” vinyl log(m) & Laraaji - Onrush repress on dark green transparent vinyl Various - Resonance 2xLP on transparent fluoro-pink vinyl You’ll notice these discs all have transparency in common. The primary polymers that vinyl consists of, PVA and PVC (combined in approx ratios of 2:1) are naturally clear. Colours are then added. In the case of black that dye includes carbon. What the addition of carbon does, as well as making the vinyl black, is it strengthens it. If you take a 140g transparent record and a 140g black record, you’ll notice the transparent record is slightly more flexible than the black one. But does this affect audio quality? Well if we’re talking just transparent vinyl, then no. I’ve worked with numerous pressing plants over the years. They have been very honest and open with me when discussing options, which has affected my choices. The one thing that IMO affects the audio quality itself is the process and the technology. I’ve had black vinyl pressed with poorer audio quality than other black vinyl, and transparent vinyl with superior quality to anything else. What I’ve been told by cutting engineers is that if ordering colour vinyl, opaque colour combinations have a higher noise floor than clear…and the highest noise floor is in picture discs, glitter, neon and other more “gimmicky” formats. But for standard coloured vinyl, the advancements have been there for a long time. Just it’s hard to dispel rumours from decades ago once they start. If you go online and google this you’ll find various forum threads from decades ago…but you’ll also find newer discussions which dispel these myths. If you’re curious, leave a comment. I have various discussions and interviews with experts bookmarked that I can share.

Westenders! I just dropped off two copies of every release that's still in stock to @mixeduprecords in Otago Lane so toddle on down there and have a rummage. Actually, while I was there I spotted a copy of the @laraaji_official & log(m) triple LP (dark green translucent vinyl edition) in the second hand racks. That one's long out of print so one of you lucky devils can snap that up while you're there. The illustration of said record shop on slide 2 is by a friend, the talented @pcillustrator If you've never visited the shop you really should.

Happy new year!! 2025 sure has been a strange and unpleasant year. However, as well as the label doing remarkably well, another personal high point for me was this release of my own creation, and although technically released in December 2024 and not in 2025, the revenue generated did come back to me in March 2025. It took less than 3 months to sell out which is one of the label's fastest selling releases! And, as promised I was able to donate the profits to @eda_organisation (see slide 2). Hopefully in 2026 as I get some time back to myself I can find the time to make some more music. Thanks to everyone who bought my music, or asked me to DJ, or otherwise helped make a tough year more enjoyable. Onwards and upwards. Positivity and peace. GKMX

2025 was personally a very difficult year for me...but for the label it was a whole other story. These two compilations pictured, marking 10 years of Invisible Inc, were not just high points of the year, but high points of the label as a whole. The excellent bandcamp artists app which is great not just for artists but also nerdy label managers like me tells me 2025 was by far the year with the highest number of sales coming in out of the last 10 years at almost £14k, that being almost £2k more than the next best year which was 2020, a year in which covid meant people had a lot more disposable income. What this tells me is that the music on the label has been as high quality as it ever was if not more so, thanks to the amazing artists who have contributed music to the label. It was also a year in which I managed to pay artists over £3.1K as well as charities over £1K. This year i also decided to remove invisible inc music from Spotify (which pays the label a paltry sum of around £50 per quarter, despite some tracks getting tens of thousands of plays...not to mention being ethically completely unsound: CEO Daniel Ek invested millions into defence firm Helsing who use AI modelling in surveillance and strike drones), and that process is currently underway. What I appreciate most off all are you, the "fans", who have consistently spent your hard earned money on the label and supported it through its life as it grew and unfolded, many of you since its humble and 'invisible' beginnings. Whether you have bought the music via Bandcamp or in a record shop that support has been invaluable. The label would not have made it past its second year had it not been for people like you helping it stay afloat. Lastly it's shame I can only tag 20 people in a single post but I'd like to tag all the artists involved in the label because without them none of this would have happened. They are the backbone of the label. So I will tag as many as I can in the comments. On that note I'll be taking a break from the label this year...but won't be disappearing entirely. I already have some things in mind for 2027. And if you need me, you know where I am. Love GK @gamma_knife_machine

Afternoon all This morning I did my sums and totalled up what we raised for the Xmas fundraiser and the amount, after bandcamp/Paypal deductions, is £255.81...so that is pretty great. Thank you everyone who supported the fundraiser, especially those of you who placed multiple orders or gift orders of items already in their possession...it's much appreciated. Divided in two makes an odd figure so I rounded up to £128 to each of the two causes. Those payments have been made and (partial) screenshots of the receipts are attached below. The two charities are @lphr_lawyers and @hindrajabfoundation Please follow them to keep up with their excellent work! In other news, for anyone in Aberdeen, I'll be DJing at The Blue Lamp with my Wrong Party co-conspirator @illogical_operator for a @_finetimes party tonight. Should be a wild one....come down and let yourself go! Peace GKx

Dear listeners and believers, As those of you following the label for some years will know by now, Christmas Day at Invisible Inc means inverting capitalism and all the insane spending we do at this time of year and offering you loyal disciples stupendous discounts on the label's back catalogue for one day only. This year, once again, I'm offering 90% off all digital (sorry, I can't include vinyl/merch) by using the code 'feastorfamine' at checkout. Any revenue generated today until midnight tonight gets donated to charity. The charities the funds will be donated to this year are Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights (lphr.org.uk) @lphr_lawyers and The Hind Rajab Foundation () @hindrajabfoundation So, in a nutshell, 'feastorfamine' to get 90% off anything digital and all goes to charity. Link in bio to the label bandcamp where all this is happening 👍 Love, peace....and to a free Palestine GKx
