Final shot vs behind the scenes with @ilfordphoto Pan F Plus 🎞️
Nothing more special than large format film photography. Everything is so much slower. And that’s why I love this format so much.
In the studio with a model, it feels really intimate. You’re not rushing you’re moving slow, talking, adjusting, waiting for the right second to click. It’s less about “getting the shot” and more about actually being present with the person in front of you.

In November, leading up to the product launch, I spent an afternoon using the brand new Intrepid Super 120 System.
I was able to shoot five different aspect ratios on the same roll of film- taking advantage of interchangeable masks to get the most from each scene.
Huge thanks to all the team who helped make this awesome product happen, and thanks to Alex at Chemistry Film Lab for the fast development turnaround!

I was digging through the archives looking for this first image and I found a few others I thought I’d share while I’m at it.
The bigger the format the bigger the pain in the ass it is to shoot. I’ve had a hell of a time with my @intrepidcamera over the years, through sun and snow, sleet and slide; nothing beats a big ol’ sheet of film.

After one year in the making we are incredibly excited to announce that this friday we will be launching our Super 120 System.
The Super 120 System magazine is a roll-film back which enables you to shoot medium format film on a large format camera.
It bridges the convenience of 35mm with the professionalism of 4x5.
Unlike other medium format cameras and film backs, the Super 120's innovative mechanical counter allows total control over how you use your film. From a classic 6x4.5 portrait, to stunning 6x12 panoramas, the Super 120 allows any
combination of frame sizes on the same roll of film.
The magazine is supplied as an unassembled 3D printed kit: with colour-coded components, matte black fibreglass frame masks and all the hardware you'll need.
