I just got a text from a friend whose grandpa built my house in 1965, and she could not believe this is the same basement bathroom she and her cousins were all terrified of using as kids in the ‘80s. Awesome testament to how in-stock retail items—with the right eye and a strict deadline—can work wonders with a budget remodel. @flooranddecor | 📸 @aliharper
On this tile fireplace and mantel we were challenged to create a random pattern out of tiles that varied in size slightly depending on the color. It became a bit of a brain teaser at times during the install but we got it!
Major props to Zeke for capturing this sitting room with like 9 shades of terra cotta, coral and emerald…not to mention like 18 patterns on top of one another in the winter when there’s like 5.5 hours of useable light, max…and also showing up again the next day and not, like, totally hating me for it. 🤷🏻♂️📸 @zekeruelas@elizabethdemos@intownfix@charlieklaesius@sonchia
Another. Finished. House. Got so caught up in, like, having a baby and stuff, that I never got around to posting much of this Mediterranean gem and its deceptively understated exterior masking the technicolor interior, and now here we are. 📸 @zekeruelas@intownfix
Totally stepped out of my comfort zone for this project, being that southern traditional and floral aesthetics aren’t in my usual bag of tricks; however, happy as hell I did ‘cuz this baby has a sixteen page spread in the April issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. Also, still no Flynnsmith baby yet; this 10 month sprint’s officially turned into a 41 or 42 week marathon or something like that idfk i’m new here and outta clever childbirth analogies don’t @ me. 📸 @zekeruelas@elizabethdemos@sonchia@intownfix
Another custom deck is in the books. This 26’x30’ Grant Park deck includes 6x6 posts for handrails, concrete landings for stairs, 1x4 skirting with hinged access door below the deck, picture frame finish on the decking as well as a grilling station/pergola. The pergola is integrated into the framing and design.
We built this coop for a favorite homeowner who is getting a few more chickens soon. We poured lots of effort and creativity into this project. I’m happy with the clean result and the finishing touches throughout. We made custom feeding and watering systems, painted the concrete floor, sealed all interior surfaces and sanded all touch points. I’ll post more once the chicks arrive and are old enough to live in their new home!
A few detail shots of a recent deck project. We have been doing this guardrail style for the last few decks and I like it more and more. This deck is 16’x20’ and we did a breaker board in the center to add a little interest.
Another pre-listing project. We did our standard update/refresh with quartz counter tops and new sinks, new lighting, painted cabinets and new tile backsplash. We also installed new hardwoods upstairs and put in a great new front door.
