Doctor orders you a dose of interzerted. We have a super hot mix this week from the 1 & only interzerted blending electronica, breaks, grime and romantica.
“elo der,
it’s interzerted, i hope that you’re enjoying my mix, it’s the first time I’ve managed to, mix what I listen to in my day-to-day life, by drawing tracks from Loukeman. The summer is getting closer so I thought I’d incorporate some songs that sound like you’re outside in a digital ethereal field of blooping beats from 1tbsp and Mietze Conte. But I had to bring you back to earth eventually by putting some grimey beats in there from Fones and Neil Landstrum. I’ve also put some new and old Joy Orbison songs in there because their music still sounds futuristic and opening. I feel as though I have given you a small insight into some of the artists that I listened to that inspired me to involve myself in a more applied way to digital sounds by learning how to DJ .
My favourite independent brand at the moment would be ‘Lost Art’, I’m leaving Liverpool in a couple of months so whenever I see someone wearing their T-shirts, or anything from Liverpool, if someone drinking LoveLane beer or the grapefruit and gin drink I get a tad excited. But Lost Art could be ranked the best because their skateboards are cool and all the content is really impressive and I feel like I could sit in their mezzanine all afternoon reading skateboard mags.
The best thing that I’ve eaten would have to be this homemade dahl soup and focaccia that a very kind person donated to the University of Liverpool Palestine Encampment the other day. It was all still hot and the soup was the perfect thing to fill me up whilst I ate it in the pouring rain underneath the slowly collapsing marque.
Thank you for having me Queensway special shoutout to Mia & Tash for putting this together and for all of her wise wisdom that I have accumulated through the University of Liverpool DJSoc.”
