Sustainability highlights: -LEED® Gold -Scope 1 & 2 Carbon Neutrality by 2025 and Scope 3 by 2050. “More Sizes, More Shapes, More Possibilities” is our tagline here at Interstate Brick. We are passionate about helping architects bring their vision to life with custom sizes and shapes, just as our moto suggests. One of our favorite stories is when the renowned architect Frank Gehry approached Interstate Brick with his vision for curved brick walls. We were thrilled to help bring his innovative design to life! The project utilized custom structural brick, modular-sized pavers, and an incredible sloped roof of custom-shaped bricks designed by our on-site engineer. Today we were honored to attend the grand opening of the Murray Museum at the John Cahoon House - a moment that brings Interstate Brick full circle. John P. Cahoon, founder of the Salt Lake Pressed Brick Company, laid more than bricks when he established the foundation of what would become Interstate Brick. His legacy lives on in every structure we help build today. Seeing this beautifully preserved brickwork of the Cahoon House - crafted over a century ago - reminds us just how timeless and enduring quality masonry can be.
