Last but certainly not least! Special Blends (@specialblends_ ) boss @maleekaveli knows a thing or two about delivering killer parties. Drawing his musical influences from UK rave culture past and present, expertly blurring the lines between genres while keeping a crowd bouncing comes naturally to this guy. Having spent a few years cementing himself and his imprint in the ever-growing underground London scene (most notably throwing a recent madness feat. Naina, Mixtress & Dwarde) he's returned to Birmingham to implement his sound and keep pushing boundaries. It was a no-brainer to bring Maleekaveli & his hectic bass-laden capabilities up north for this one - expect footwork, juke and a dash of breaks for good measure! NEW WEEK, NEW SPOTLIGHT… Cutting his teeth in the Hull house party circuit as a @crystalclearsoc resident, Insurrect has a penchant for the dimly lit, bass-laden avenues of dance music - fluctuating through Club, Dubstep, Ghetto House, Hip Hop, UK Funky and UKG. Insurrect is no stranger to rocking a party in the 0161, supporting the likes of Champion, Groovy D, Papa Nugs, Smokey Bubblin' B and Tañ over the years, while most recently tearing the roof off with Ghoulish for the @solitude.mcr launch night back in January 🔥 He also currently holds a killer monthly residency on @komrad.net_ - no surprises his show with @armasounds is our personal favourite!
