What a great 5th edition this was! The Interior Affair Milan Design Week edition fully embraced the Italian theme, with Italian brands, limoncello spritz, and fresh pasta in our showroom in Amsterdam.
A well-attended networking event with a great turnout. We started with an informative knowledge session on new furniture, new fabrics, and brand updates presented during Milan Design Week 2026 together with several Italian partners. Afterwards, as always, we continued with a relaxed networking drink, filled with great conversations and plenty of time to connect.
A special thanks to the following partners who joined this knowledge session: @cassinaofficial , @anonimacastelli_bnlx , @pedralispa , @milani_ruimte_inrichters , and @lapalmadesign .
Grazie mille a tutti e ciao!

Step inside a 745 m² historic villa from 1914, featuring narrow staircases, soaring ceilings, and three distinctive floors that form the foundation of the @bdb_groep Amersfoort.
“Friendly Classic” perfectly captures the design vision by @voidinterieurarchitectuur . The images speak for themselves: a warm, welcoming interior that feels more like a living room than a workspace.
Featuring brands like @plushalle , @gubiofficial , @vepa.thefurniturefactory , and HÅG, the space blends comfort with timeless design.

What do these spaces have in common? Daylight.
You can fill a room with beautiful furniture and decor, but natural light is just as important. It shapes how we feel, focus, function, and supports energy and well-being every day:
⤷ Our circadian rhythm, which regulates sleep, eating, and body temperature, is driven by light.
⤷ Lack of daylight can lead to sleep problems, stress, poor concentration, low mood, or seasonal depression.
⤷ Older adults are particularly sensitive: aging lenses let in up to 5x less light than younger eyes, even in healthy eyes.
Reminder: set your clock forward on March 29 and enjoy that important little extra daylight. 🕑

It is remarkable to see a design truly come to life when children interact with it!
At @xploreagoraamsterdam , this is exactly what happens: the furniture is used, experienced and... explored. The result is a playful, creative, colorful, and slightly cheeky interior that perfectly reflects the school’s concept: students here literally and figuratively have the space to discover who they are and what they can become.
The furniture plan was carefully curated, featuring products from renowned European sustainable brands such as @vitra , @softlinefurniture , @muutodesign , @haydesign , @fatboy_original , @mdd_furniture , and @inclass_design .

This month, our colleague Pamela, our Product Specialist with a keen eye for materials, colors, and textures, shared her favorite picks for what to expect in interior design in the months ahead — showing that everyone can start experimenting with a touch of silver, especially in offices and hospitality.
Silver is here to stay; it remains a key element, creating a statement without overpowering. Paired with soft materials and subtle prints, it adds personality and character to every space.

For our project manager, Anne, this was an exciting moment.
The Molo Cloud Softlight, shipped all the way from Canada, is made of non-woven polyethylene – a lightweight material that feels like paper but is much stronger.
It had to be perfectly installed on a 7-meter-high ceiling, which required careful handling and gloves to protect the delicate material.
Every project brings its own exciting moments, and this striking lighting was definitely one of them.
The result? A true highlight, perfectly mounted in the space, and a big moment of satisfaction and relief for the team.
