@hybridfest26 HYBRID Festival presents - 7 Artists Shaping the Future of Performance at @uferstudios_tanz_berlin Join us on Sunday, 24.05.2026 at 7PM for a shared evening alongside artists @inter_section_performance (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) RAUM:FALTEN The intermedia duo INTER_SECTION - multimedia artist Claudia Schmitz and composer, musician, performer Sabine Ercklentz - challenges our everyday understanding of space as a bounded and bounding entity. Everyday and imagined boundaries are countered with a poetic utopia expressed through sound and moving images. HYBRID Festival is celebrating the intersection of performing arts and mixed media, featuring 7 multidisciplinary productions over a three-night experience extending across audiovisual performance, mixed reality, AI systems, dance choreography, and experimental artistic practices. They will fold various spaces – sonic and visual, everyday and artificial, analogue and digital – into one another in a performance and reformat them again and again as the performance progresses. Multi-channel sound and projections are used. The performance space is expanded and superimposed, with 'spatial folds' creating a blurring of the boundaries between disciplines. INTER_SECTION #8 RAUM:FALTEN Mit dem Projekt RAUM:FALTEN fordert das intermediale Duo INTER_SECTION (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) das alltägliche Verständnis von Raum als begrenzter und begrenzender Einheit heraus. Die verschiedenen Räume – klangliche und visuelle, alltägliche und künstliche, analoge und digitale – faltet das Duo im Verlauf der Performance ineinander und strukturiert sie immer wieder neu. Mit Mehrkanal-Ton und Projektionen wird der konkrete Aufführungsort ausgedehnt und überlagert - Raumfalten entstehen.
