B & Y got married at the magical Thornewood Castle on 5/9/26 and celebrated with friends and family from China and across the country and down the street from where they live here in Washington. Their very cute dog Yoki was also in attendance. The ceremony was held in the serene garden and during our quiet reflection time at the beginning of the ceremony the fountain offered up soothing soft waterfall music and a sweet bird serenaded our bride and groom through the whole ceremony. B & Y wrote the most amazing vows for each other. Filled with deep appreciation, poetic professions of their devotion and funny memories and wise recognition of the journey ahead. I sometimes marvel at the maturity of the young people I officiate for. These two are grounded, well established in their lives and have both a spirit of adventure and a capacity to really show up for each other. Their thank you gift for their guests was a make your own crystal bowl keepsake to bless their homes. ( a gift and gesture dear to my heart! And I was invited to make one to take home as well)
Blessings on your today and all of your tomorrows B&Y. I fell a little in love with you and thus am your honorary auntie for life. 💞
