I would not be who I am today without @colscityschools & @forthayescareercenter ‼️
Nor would I be who I am without God.
Many can NOT believe who I have become… others can NOT believe who I once was…
That is a testament to the transformative power of belief in Jesus Christ.
In school, even with the All-Ohio medals and homecoming crown, I still felt so unseen & unloved. 💔
Talented yet traumatized, I went into the world looking 𝙛𝙤𝙧 approval instead of 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 approval.
A free-fall into teenage despair landed me in the arms of my Heavenly Father. ❤️🩹
Young black male college dropout… gifted yet misguided, desperate for purpose…
Anchored his 1-of-1 identity in Jesus, not a job or degree. From that moment on, my life has not been the same since.
I use to think my radical transformation was akin to Apostle Paul’s conversion on Demascus Road.
Now I’m convinced it’s more akin to the troubled man Jesus encountered in Mark 5… isolated, self-harming… DELIVERED… free to declare back in his home town just how gracious and merciful God is.
Many of you know me, tapping in at various milestones of the journey.
So for the record… unequivocally and unapologetically, any and everything anyone has even seen me accomplish is a direct result of me being “God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time…”
