Here are some of them to explore: • Meaningful spiritual rituals you have • Spiritual practice • Epsom salt baths • Prayer • Meditation • Somatic movement to transmute energy and emotions • Affirmations and declaration over yourself and space • Spiritual music • Binaural beats and frequencies • Burning holy blessed incense or wood-based incense • Burning frankincense and myrrh • Saging (If you are non-indigenous, done only with honor, respect, and reverence for the Indigenous culture and ritual) • Clapping your hands three times to disperse energy • Dancing • African drum music • Waving/scanning a selenite crystal over yourself • Don’t save unharmonious images of media • Declutter your device and space • Self-restraint • Laughter. If you tie self-confidence to experience, you might think that age enhances it. However, from this perspective, age can sometimes weaken it as well. Self-confidence is better understood as an outcome of your attitude toward yourself - believing in your abilities, being open to learning, and trusting yourself to face challenges. In this sense, self-confidence isn’t about experience or age, but rather your willingness to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, respect yourself, and practice behaviors like self-compassion and inner faith. To observe the minds true nature we must pause with mindfulness (sathipattana) Observe four fundamental objects 1. The body (kayanupassana) 2. Feeling and sensations (vedanaupassana) 3. State of consciousness (cittanupassana) 4. Mental objects (dhammanupassana) Being aware means you have everything you need in life. Which means living in the beautiful now. Tips to stay focused on your next writing or productivity session 👇🏾 📝 Choose a project: know what you’ll be focusing on on for the duration of your session. ☕️ Grab everything you need: make sure you have your favorite drink and supplies so that you won’t have to go grab anything and get distracted! 🎧 Reduce distractions: put on headphones or earbuds to reduce noise and help you focus. 🎶 Play music: choose some instrumental, chill, or calm aligning with the vibe that you were seeking. 📵 Stay away from your phone! 👩🏾‍💻 Try Body-doubling either in person at a local coffee shop or online. ⏳Pomodoro technique: use productivity techniques like the Pomodoro timer to help you stay on task and learn to take breaks. ✅ Tips for Practicing Yoga Daily 👇🏾 It can be challenging when living a busy lifestyle, but there are ways to incorporate a yoga routine into your daily life that are more sustainable and beneficial than going to the studio every once in a while (which you should still do!): - set a time to practice every day - practice from home to reduce travel time & expenses - designate a quiet space - choose a style of yoga or a teacher that aligns - start small: even 5 minutes every day can be enough - create an intention to support you when you feel like skipping - stay flexible and compassionate, adapt and change things up as you need. If you want to get on your mat with me this week, you can practice with me live, on the @insighttimer app, tomorrow, Monday at 8:00am EST (14:00 CET).
