Apologies if you didn’t manage to get tickets to our fashion show GUM - you will still be able to see all the A2 Textiles work on display at the Summer Exhibition on the 18th June.

Congratulations to Photography student Sam Richardson for getting his piece Grow vs Build into the RA Young Artists’ Summer Show @royalacademyarts Grow vs Build  “This piece explores the balance between nature and industry, inspired by my Grow vs Build project in college. Using photography and plant-based dyes, I’ve created a contrast between the two worlds. The left and right images show industrial locations, layered with photograms of nettle and ivy leaves, each dyed with its respective pigment. The middle image, fully dyed, features an industrial building seen through a fragmented lens. It reflects the clash and coexistence of natural and built environments”. sam_photography_._
