A quick look around the usual DNB portals will tell you that we are one of the only traditional platforms that consistently represent MC culture.
Why? Because it's an integral and criminally under represented part of our scene.
It will also tell you that we are one of the only traditional platforms that consistently represent the American drum and bass movement.
Why? Because it's an integral and criminally under represented part of our scene.
We've had virtual stops in Minnesota, Oregon, Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas and now San Francisco by way of THE COLONEL.
Resident MC at Stamina Sundays for over a decade, this dude brings a heady mix of both flair and fire to the set, which is interesting seeing as he'd never even picked up a mic before a visit to London put him in front of Dynamite MC and the Represent crew in the 90s, inspiring him to take the craft back to San Fran with him.
We first heard him via the Shoot Recordings imprint a while back and he's been on our radar for ever since.
Needless to say, we're stoked to have finally caught up with him to hear his story, and his new material on his own Dammit Records imprint.

My boy @bealieuk rocking the dex this Saturday at @eddierocksclub !
We will be in Birmingham unfortunately watching Carl Cox and The Prodigy tear down the place.
Massively proud moment though.
Love you kid.
Even if you do support Chelsea.
What a weekend!
As a lifelong metal head and Sabbath fan, seeing the Ozzy and Black Sabbath tributes, (and The Crown pub where heavy metal was invented) in Birmingham was wild, but then seeing Carl Cox drop two hours of ‘91/‘92 old skool hardcore on vinyl over three decks (which he was famous for here in the UK way before he became a Globe trotting mega DJ) was just incredible.
Bumping into friends of over 30 years @ryzedj and Kim was the icing on the cake though.
And The Prodigy. Of course. Yet another show stopper. There’s a good reason this must be about the 10th time we’ve seen them live.
Love you @loubeale
Can I please have my calf muscles back now though.
OI OI !!!
Our next release is due out in a few weeks.
The SOUNDCLOUD premiere dropped today.

One of the best funk metal tracks of all time.
Reminds me of skateboarding and sunsets and being young and not having a care in the world.
Happy Sunday everyone.
You’re welcome.
We caught up recently with @jacquesmayauk to talk about his history as a trained musician, his application of those skills in his liquid drum and bass compositions, and his choons on @fokuzrecordings , @celsiusrecs & @spearheadrecs .

INSIDE DNB SILVER = NOISY, IN YOUR FACE, NOSE BREAKING DRUM AND BASS.
SILVER represents a trip back to when the Amen was king, tech was the flavour and the more of a racket you could make with a sampler and a PC, the better.
We’re hoping to represent the full spectrum of drum and bass music on the INSIDE DNB MUSIC label, so here’s a little taste of our next release on SILVER.
It’s out at the end of the month if you think it might take your fancy!
BIG UP!!!
