It was an easy “yes” to this role because of the personal history attached to it. The heartbeat of the narrative comes from grief but by healing through the care and creation of this film, it revives love, giving life anew.

Rehearsal for something I’m so excited to share soon. If you told me almost 3 years ago that I’d be able to go berserk in a 1v5 fight sequence, learning the choreography in 2 hours at a park with seasoned stuntmen, then I’d probably wouldn’t believe you.
Yet life continues to surprise me. I have to keep defying gravity. It brings me the greatest joy.

This film means so much to me, not just because of the award, but because it was one of the most fun, challenging, and rewarding filmmaking experiences of my career so far. Some gems of joy in the rough of January because—what a year already. We’re booked and busy while being a good friend and friendly neighborhood ninja princess. Making healthy boundaries and charcuterie boards are now an obsession. Still got the magic with her famous vegan, gluten-free lemon coconut cookies. Trusting the process and ancestors as always.
