A year ago today, we conjured a very intimate gathering of loved ones to celebrate the union of our souls… If you know us, you know what Halloween has meant, and represents in our love story. To inform our attendees, I knew I wanted our summons to be special, so I set out to create personalized animated invitations to each party. We’re so excited to finally share the final invite!

At the end of 2024, @thethirdfloor_visualization challenged its artists to create a short film with the limitations of shooting only on a mobile phone and foregoing any visual effects. Flash forward to now, and the last 3 months have been spent working with some of the most talented people I know to create a short film that I’ve become so remarkably proud of. RELINQUISH is a labor of love, the passion that every artist who has contributed to this project is truly touching. Next week, I’ll be putting the completed short online to share with the world. LINK IN BIO!! 3 years ago I was asked to direct the live-action trailer for a video game based on a franchise I’ve been a fan of since I was a kid. Madness has been a thrilling and bold title that has welcomed thousands of young animators into the world of independent animation and world building. I was stoked to hear the creator was partnering with a good friend to develop Madness into a video game called Madness Project Nexus. Together with @hansvanharkenpublic , @carlosalfredojr , and @lazerbot_ under the banner of @SkelStudio we set out to make a gritty, cheeky, and stylized short that would give the audience a taste of insanity. Now that the game is complete, the time has come for this trailer to be released publicly. CONGRATS to the developers, and thank you to the cast, crew, producers, and developers involved in making this a reality. Today’s Blender sketch. Getting ready to create concept art for a pitch deck, and wanting to shake off the rust. Been learning Blender over the last year, and honestly so impressed. Can’t believe how far it’s come, and entirely free. This was rendered on its Eevee render engine, 1920x1080 at 4seconds per frame. Anamorphic depth of field, motion blur, volumetric lighting, ambient occlusion, and 16bit. Astounding! If you’ve been wanting to learn 3D, Blender is as accessible and straight forward to learn as ever!

I can’t believe another year has passed that this world has been graced by your lovely soul. A year ago we never could have imagined how things would change, but we have persisted.
