About 10 years ago, I set a quiet goal for myself — to one day shoot a feature-length documentary as a cinematographer. Today, I had the privilege of doing just that.
I took this photo with @jlin7 a decade ago while I was working at NBCUniversal as a camera operator. Back then, I was focused on learning, growing, and finding my way. Fast forward ten years, and Jeremy is now the executive producer of the documentary I had the honor of shooting as DP.
The road here hasn’t been easy, and it certainly hasn’t been quick. But I’m grateful for every step, every lesson, and every person who believed in me along the way. Still learning, still growing — and still going.

Happy 1st Birthday Maxine! (Actually it was yesterday!) I cannot believe one year just flew by like this and that you’re officially a toddler! Looking back at this year, we did so much together! We traveled to Taiwan, Korea, Mexico, Palm Springs, San Francisco, North Carolina, Santa Barbara, and just spent your first birthday in Hawaii! I love seeing you develop and grow into your own personality! You love music, and to sing and dance! You love swim class and can now hold your breath under water!
