I love how cool toned and drenched in twilight Mika’s page is! I’m just the biggest fan of anything purpley-blue. That Milky Way-esque sky and the smoke cloud are colored so perfectly 💙 Thanks for reminding me why I should use a base medium next time, you’re so fast and efficient! 😆

Johanna’s winter wreath complete ✔️ ❄️
Really wanted to go with a different palette than the classic red and green winter vibes, so I went with this frosted cranberry color scheme and I kind of love it 🤍 it’s giving Valentines Day a little, but it’s almost February right?! 😅❤️

Our pages are so similar! This might be the most similar of any of my buddy colors so far! This page really just called for some red foxes and some contrasting blue hues. It’s almost like different times of the day between our pages 🌙🌚

As for mine…you see I didn’t even know who Lucia was until someone else told me and I had to google! I’m not Christian, nor do I live in Europe anywhere so that’s definitely why mine isn’t as traditional, but I still really like how it came out 😍 I saw a dark and moody illustration of Lucia when I was looking for inspiration on Pinterest and it blew me away. 🤍

Who’s ready for story time? I was soooo happy with how it was coming along when I first started the page. I woke up the next morning, sat down to chip away at it some more and was quite displeased to see my kitty (who has quite long hair on her tush) had left some 💩 brown art 💩 on my WIP 😭
After a cry & scream, I mustered up the courage and just took Clorox wipes to the page 😩 What’s the worst that could happen at this point, right? It tore, I erased, I painted over, and I finally managed to come out with a page that isn’t a complete piece of shit (pun intended) 😅
My buddy’s page on the other hand is stunning and vibrant and screams the holidays and reminded me of the movie Elf when I first saw their finished work 🤩 Nostalgia at its finest 💚
