I imagine I am in Japan during this seasonal event. At some point I would like to stand there in person and be surrounded by all those cherry blossoms!
But atleast here in Frankfurt we also have some great places. You just need to be curious about your surroundings, take the moment in and capture what you see 📸💗

24.01.2026 ✨A for #amsterdam !
One of the earliest sketches I did for the lettering illustration of Amsterdam was from 2018. And fun fact, those were also the first drawings of the book #meinereisedurcheuropa 🙂
Between the years during the winter holidays, I had a short little vacation in the Netherlands. Visiting Utrecht & Amsterdam💞.
Last time I was in Amsterdam was during ☀️summer and now I went there during ❄️winter.
Which inspired me to capture my impressions once again of those beautiful cities with this finished page.
I love the unique Architecture and the gorgeous buildings around Grachten.
Going full circle from the concept drawing, to the final illustration and now the completed artwork! I love the idea of capturing the atmosphere with colors 🎨!
It was also a pleasure to ✍🏻 color in the french edition #voyageeneurope this time around.
