3 passes on the press for the front image and many more swear words trying to get the type to curve nicely like the lines š« a little bit of masking off for each one on the 3rd layer.
My colleague @dunn_roaming is a superstar and cut these brass strips to 0.918 for me and anneals them at the school of jewellery university campus so I can bend them with ease.

When my wonderfully talented oldest pal @acaseforbooks wrote a sequel to Alice in Wonderland, I was eager to make some real life props from it - I mean, what a dreamy genre!
I was even more delighted to find the typeface Iād decided I was going to use was in the Mrs Beetons cookbook from 1913 when I was doing a bit of research.
For any Alice fans - youāll love this novel, itās beautifully absurd and nonsensical. OUT NOW!

Back at it. itās been a couple of years since I made a winter print after some back to back maternity leave, and there was a point where I swore to myself Iād never attempt something like this again. But when itās all locked up I quickly forgot that. Home made bent brass rules for the win again thank to help at @soj_bcu

Edible Christmas gifts, but extra āØ
Made using homemade annealed brass rules, bent around my bike light for the curves and a lino print for the centre infill.
Inspired to make this after attending an @annieatkins workshop this summer on props for film, so thank you. And as always, inspired by the artistic printers of the 19th century, and, packaging from a patisserie I visited in France this year.
I had to learn to make chocolate filled truffles for this one - Maple and pecan praline and salted caramel

Moses, our forever puppy, the dog that made all my childhood dreams come true.
Thereās a deep sadness in my heart at his loss, the house is too quiet and just doesnāt feel right without him pottering around and at my ankles. He brought us joy every day for 5.5 years, he was the most gentle uncle Moses to our girls and the worlds top snuggler. Moses, there are so many more crumbs around this house without you around.
This is an ode to Moses, a book with all the names we used to call him.

This bookmark was inspired by our newly purchased bike trailer, now that Coco can sit up independently, this is the summer freedom I have longed for! As it turns out, it is not as waterproof as I first thought. Sorry kids.
