I consider myself very lucky to have grown up before everyone had smart phones.
The internet has been a brilliant tool to see art and get inspired, but it feels like this platform, although filled with inspiration can also really cause us distress. With an increasing prioritisation of paid content, and proliferation of things designed purely to grab and hold our attention, i thought it important to question why I engage.
Over the last 9 months I’ve been making abstract and experimental works that have felt less related to tattooing and illustration, so have made a separate website for this work. I have been trying to show a more in depth insight into my ideas, process, inspirations and motivations as a blog.
I love making art but in this space where ❤️ is just like, I don’t think I like what I did once ❤️ about it.

Join us for a creative weekend exploring the versatile process of screen printing. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher, this small, hands-on course gives you plenty of individual guidance while you experiment and develop your own ideas.
Over the weekend you’ll learn how to:
• Prepare screens for photo stencils
• Create positives by hand or digitally
• Expose and wash out stencils
• Mix and print with water-based inks
• Work with registration and colour layering
Bring along your drawings, photographs, collage or digital images and create your own multi-layered, multi-coloured prints. By the end of the weekend you’ll have a series of prints and the confidence to keep printing.

This is how you handmade 38 awards for @brightontattoocon
This is the product of 6 month of hard work. I’ve put blood/ sweat and tears into this project and if someone would ask me to redo it all, I would without hesitation.
It’s an immense honour for me to have works on the convention awards. When I came 13 years ago to England, doing that convention was a dream coming true. Never back then I would have imagined one day working alongside Woody and Emily.
