RuralArtConnect is a collaborative project by Maajaam and Savvaļa, aimed at strengthening art communities in rural areas. Over the course of a year, the project will host four different workshops – two at Maajaam and two at Savvaļa.
The first workshop at Maajaam, “More Effort, Some Function”, will be led by Leopold Inkapööl. Participants will have the opportunity to create an interactive installation or object, embracing experimentation, discovery, and playfulness – whether through humor or an unexpected approach.
The call is open to three artists from Southern Estonia and three artists from the Vidzeme/Kurzeme region of Latvia. The project is co-funded by the Interreg Estonia-Latvia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021-2027 and the Estonian Cultural Endowment.

I graduated from design school this year and now we have a show so if you for some really strange reason would be in Eindhoven next week you can listen to it. It’s a room with an instrument (kind of) where you can spin rings and make the sounds move around you in the room thanks to a bunch of hidden speakers. I call it Omniphonium
