Summer is coming with the iconic Summer Pass (keychain) with unlimited access to C12. @max.__gt is someone I’ve come to really look up to, both as a friend and as a reference point for the kind of sound I just love. Especially within the Belgian scene, and more specifically in Ghent, what he and his collective are building feels genuine. It’s a team that has been working hard on its community, that has had its ups and downs, but kept going out of pure love for the music, the scene and the people. Like Max told me, “this is our lifestyle, this is who we are.” With two events coming up this weekend, and after hosting a night in Berlin just last month, it felt like the right moment to slow down and talk about where they’re at and how life is looking right now for both of us. Spring’s first note is dedicated to @quelza_m ’s return. Letting his techno echo through various chambers, resulting in often interesting side-quests. It’s technical, upfront, and personal selection that never ceases to surprise, and it’s back. He’s joined by Dallas-born futurist @__decoder , whose playfully varied background serves a measured reinvention of techno. Rooted in Dallas warehouse and DIY parties, he remains guided by curiosity, patience, and a disciplined faith in simplicity beyond current trends. Local selector and gifted producer @initialcode_cd joins as well, fresh off his first @indepth.imprint imprint release, ‘Analog Fragments’. Brussels native @wala__.__.__ completes the lineup as the final act, continuing the fine lineage of producer exports the city bears, with a recent release on Amsterdam’s @somov_records titled SMV012. Each artist was invited to explore their own creative path, resulting in a highly distinctive record where experimental textures meet precision-engineered techno. The recording of my ambient ‘Analog Fragments LIVE PA’, based on audio material from my label @indepth.imprint is now online. I performed this live in 360° audio using the @ambriosound mixer at @noname_lanaturefestival last summer. I’m genuinely happy to see this recording online. This is a side project rooted in deep personal experimentation, and it was a true honor to present it on the same day alongside personal inspirations such as @mike_parker_geophone , @mariasatelles , @konduku or @timnah_amenthia .
