A simple combination with a complex profile: the Garibaldi! Just two classic ingredients, orange juice and Campari, sweet citrus tempers the bold bitter liqueur making this low-proof cocktail perfect for summer sipping. Stop into The Informalist tonight and give it a try - it's set to be a lovely night for patio seating!
We are celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with dishes born in, and inspired from, the islands of Hawai’i. The modern day cuisine of our 50th state is made up of a symphony of Asian and Pacific Island flavors. From refreshing Ahi Poke Nachos to classic Kalbi Short Ribs with forbidden rice or Miksoyaki Butterfish with soba noodle salad, our outlet manager, Sanoe, has curated these specials to share a piece of her home with you. A portion of sales of these specials will be donated to Aloha United Way, a Honolulu-based nonprofit that supports community health, education, and financial stability. Head to the linktree in our bio for more details or to make a donation!

🎉 TEN YEARS OF THE INFORMALIST 🎉 Our mural is among the many things that make The Informalist a special place. It depicts Waltz No. 7 by Frédéric Chopin, a personal favorite of one of our Founders, Zach Halmstad; Zach studied music at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and is a masterful pianist among his many talents. In appreciation of this famous piece and her dear friend's admiration for it, Co-Founder Julia Johnson meticulously hand-painted the waltz, where it has proudly been displayed since our original opening date.
🎉 TEN YEARS OF THE INFORMALIST 🎉
What started as a vision from our Pablo Group Founders has grown into a thriving restaurant experience full of life, carried forward by the many folks who’ve been a part of our team over the years.
From wood-fired pizzas to scratch-made plates, late nights on the line to packed dining rooms, it’s the people—past and present—who’ve kept this place evolving, welcoming, and worth coming back to.
And to everyone who’s pulled up a chair over the last decade: THANK YOU for being part of it; you’ve helped shape what The Informalist is today.
Ten years in, and we’re still cooking!
This week is a birria bonanza at The Informalist! We’re kicking off with a Tuesday (5/5) exclusive: three barria tacos, a side of consomé, and black beans. Crispy, fresh, and loaded with flavor - pair it with a $5 margarita (available all night from The Pennybar) to take things to the next level!
Starting Wednesday, we’re serving up a Birria Pizza! Deluxe, dunkable, and all around delicious, it features a light spread of our classic red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and slow-cooked beef birria. Topped with onion and fresh cilantro, it's served with a side of consomé for an authentic experience! Available until Tuesday, May 12.
🎉 TEN YEARS OF THE LISMORE 🎉
From what it was, to what it’s become, and everything in between. On May 4, 2016, we opened our doors, and Eau Claire showed up in the best way. You’ve filled these spaces with weddings, late-night cocktails, coffee runs, celebrations, and everyday moments that somehow turned into memories.
This reel is a little before and after—but it’s really a thank you.
To everyone who’s sipped something at Dive, lingered a little longer over dinner at The Informalist, grabbed coffee (and maybe a treat or two) at ECDC, hosted events, stayed the night, or simply stopped by—we wouldn’t be here without you. Ten years in, and it still feels like we’re just getting started.
Stop in and celebrate with us this week!
Few things feel as meaningful as time spent around the table—and this Mother’s Day, we’re setting the scene for a brunch that’s as thoughtful as the one you’re celebrating.
Join us for a chef-curated buffet filled with fresh, seasonal dishes, breakfast favorites, and more! Highlights include our build-your-own eggs benedict station, carving stations with dill-roasted salmon, bourbon-glazed ham, rosemary-brined turkey, and our raspberry-filled cupcakes. With options designed to fit every palate, we've taken the guess work out of hosting your gathering.
Whether you’re reuniting with family, honoring someone dear, or simply making time to slow down and enjoy the moment, we’d love to host you.
Reservations are strongly encouraged as tables fill quickly. Head to the link in our bio to reserve your spot—we’ll be serving from 8am–2pm.
Some cocktails don’t need reinventing. The Cuba Libre brings together dark rum, cola, and fresh lime—balanced, refreshing, and timeless for a reason. Now available at The Informalist.
