much to our chagrin, we’re back in the studio fussing over bits and bobs. this saturday, april 25, we’ll be at montgomery college at @930kingstreet with some mighty fine artists. for once, the universe has quit acting like a dumb bitch. life’s good.
Infinity Knives and Brian Ennals embody this ethos of cutting through pretence with their raw, unfiltered creativity and incisive commentary. Known for their boundary-pushing DIY approach, the duo has achieved a cult-level following in experimental hip-hop, blending chaotic, genre-defying production with unapologetic social critique and dark humour.

A City Drowned In God’s Black Tears turns one today ❤️
What a shit show this album was to make and release.
I never thought I’d get so many death threats! Don’t tease me with a good time! Free Palestine forever and fuck Israel. Don’t kill yourself!
We sold out all our records—possibility of represses of all our records in the near future.
Skaņu Mežs 2026: Baltimore‑based artists Infinity Knives (Tariq Ravelomanana) and Brian Ennals create a fiercely expressive blend of experimental hip‑hop, classical‑leaning composition, and politically charged lyricism.
Their 2025 album A City Drowned in God’s Black Tears received widespread acclaim from Rolling Stone, The Wire, The Quietus, Stereogum, and others.
“City Drowned… is most definitely their boldest work yet together.” – The Needle Drop
“Among the most ambitious and expansive of the albums I loved this year.” – Hanif Abdurraqib, The New Yorker
