This past weekend in Long Beach, California, I had the pleasure to be with Dave Gardner, Michelle Moxley Hruby ( @notoriousrandd ) and @rickrothmi with @theinkkitchen Dave Gardner invented photo realistic printing on t-shirts and that shirt is from the original print run in 1984. That is SIX YEARS before Photoshop came out. This was when TDK tapes were coming out to bootleg recordings on your boom box. There were no cell phones and definitely no internet, no art tablets and again no computer programs like Photoshop. Life was different and screen printing was too. And Michelle is one of the most knowledgeable people on the planet about digital, screen print, and hybrid printing, so if you don't know her follow her posts on what's coming next. It's the real deal. And Rick? Oh man, what to say about Mirror Image and @theinkkitchen that has not been said. World class printing with every award to back it up. I would quit but I have too much to learn. Onward and upward!!!
