Last week marked the release of my first book, ‘Ecstatic Release!’, in conjunction with a 20 large scale image installation at
@labiennale .
Shot over the course of 4 years and printed across 190 pages, it is a body of work which I am so proud of.
In 2021 I was commissioned by
@studiowaynemcgregor and
@labiennale to document the Biennale Danza. Since then I have spent my Julys lurking backstage, in dressing rooms and rehearsal spaces, running around Venice trying to capture what it means to be a dancer. The pictures are truly only as interesting as who is in them and I will be forever moved by all the beautiful dancers who so generously let me into their sacred spaces at sacred moments.
