Hotties melt 🧊 weekend was beyond anything I could have imagined…As an immigrant myself, working with families whose lives have been disrupted and changed forever has been personal, fulfilling, and really really hard. To see how many people (friends, neighbors, & strangers alike) showed up & showed out has brought me so much hope. And boy do we need it in these times. I have many thoughts, I still need to reflect, sleep & cry properly but I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this weekend happen.
🫂 I had a lofty goal of raising $1K for this and we surpassed that more than 3x over. With this money, families can navigate this chapter of their lives with a bit more ease.
🥹 I have never been in a room with so many neighbors at once — folks came from NYC, North/South/Central Jersey, & ALL corners of Jersey City and I just want to say thank you times a MILLION for coming out. There is power in numbers, please remember how many people you met this weekend who care too.
