Last night, we launched the next phase of our project: Equality at Work! It was fantastic to host so many supporters of equality in employment for people with disability, both in person and online. It was a full house—full of ideas and energy to tackle the systemic and attitudinal barriers people with disability face in employment. Thank you to everyone who attended! Special thanks to @therealtimferguson for his outstanding work as the MC. And a big shoutout to our Ambassadors and Expert Advisory Group members who attended both in person and online. Their guidance and leadership are what make Equality at Work work. #disabilityinclusion #disabilityrights

Earlier this month, we travelled to Darwin to deliver a series of Disability Awareness Trainings in partnership with YouthWorX NT! We delivered this training to a fantastic group of local employers who all asked great questions about promoting disability awareness and rights in their workplaces. A special shoutout to the amazing YouthWorX NT Team, and a sincere thank you to Lyle and Aaron, two inspiring young people with disability. They were very helpful, letting us interview them in a Q&A session during each workshop and sharing valuable insights into the experiences young people with disability have in employment (as you can see in pictures 3 and 4). #disabilityawareness #disabilityrights

This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week! Studies estimate that 15-20% of the global population is neurodivergent. This includes people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and more. Not all neurodivergent people identify as people with disability, but all neurodivergent people have the right to live in accessible and inclusive environments that support their unique traits and experiences. Neurodiversity is not a challenge to overcome but a strength to embrace. This week is all about challenging misconceptions, breaking down barriers and celebrating neurodivergent people's strengths and talents. Together, we can create a more inclusive world that understands and champions neurodiversity in all its forms. #neurodiversitycelebrationweek #neurodiversityweek #NCW
