It’s both amazing and bit surreal to get an Official Charts No 1 award for our album topping both the Rock & Metal and Record Store charts. In the years after starting The Rock Orchestra, every label I approached passed on us, but I sincerely believed in what we were doing and decided to do it independently, spurred on by the immense talent we are so fortunate to work with. We started our own record label to release the album, funded the recording process and music videos, organised manufacturing, strategised the release and then conducted the promo campaigns, educating ourselves and filling key roles along the way. We were insanely fortunate to work with stunning producers, featuring artists and musicians who really make the album what it is. The award is a testament to the power of assembling a brilliant team and going after it.

Our first week chart positions are in, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported, streamed, purchased, and shared our debut album. You’ve helped take this release further than we ever imagined. This album was created, produced, and released entirely by our in-house team. A fully independent release from start to finish. We also want to recognise the incredible people behind this album - the musicians, vocalists, creatives and contributors who made it all possible: @inathanreed our founder and creative director. @julianvhinton arranger and producer extraordinaire. @simonrbloor for the incredible mix. @devsomusic in aiding our arrangements and programming. Our featured artists, @ivanacetkovic_music , @whoserinfox , @mitchelemms , @halocene (Addie Nicole), @tony_dfcts , @miaasanomusic , @thenathanjames , @joel_heywood , @dariazaritskaya , @tinaguo And everyone below for sharing their wonderful talents with us on this album. I mean, I could never have imagined when we set out on this journey 4 years ago that we’d land ourselves in the top 10 of the Official Album Charts, particularly as an independent act. After 4 years of relentless touring, over 500 shows and 750,000 guests, to finally get our record out and land at no 7 is something that will live long in the memory šŸ–¤ A million thank yous to everybody who has played a part, in particular the wonderful Julian Hinton. If you wanna help keep us in the top 10, grab a copy here -> https://the-rock-orchestra.tmstor.es/

After 9 months of planning, creation and rehearsal, with a team of more then 50 incredibly talented people, The Rock Orchestra’s first Arena of Fire shows opened to 20,000 guests in Dublin, Cardiff and Nottingham. Privileged to be doing what I love, with people I love šŸ–¤ šŸ’€

On Tuesday we sold out the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral in London. We were honoured to be one of very few concerts they hold each year. Thanks to everyone involved for making it possible.

Just under 300k ticket sales over 240 shows in 8 countries in 2022! We sold out some iconic venues including Brixton Academy & Printworks as well as winning ā€˜Best live Experience’ for Festival of The Dead as well as being nominated for ā€˜Best New Event’ at the AAA awards in Jan with The Rock Orchestra. It goes without saying that i'm hugely grateful and privileged to work with all the key people across the shows at The Rock Orchestra, Dazed, Spring Break Amsterdam Festival, Festival of The Dead, The Big Freshers Icebreaker, London Film Music Orchestra & Silent Discos in Incredible Places. We're heading into 2023 with our heads down ready to graft it out.

Very proud to have sold out Brixton Academy with The Rock Orchestra presented by Festival of The Dead on Friday with almost 5000 guests in attendance singing their hearts out! This is will undoubtedly be a (if not ā€˜the’) highlight of our 52 date tour of the UK and Ireland. Thanks to everyone involved, especially Laura, Jess, Sim, Harrison & Emma behind the scenes with me and every one of the crew, ultra talented musicians and vocalists, fire performers, circus talent, venue staff and anyone who has played a part in this awesome journey so far. It was one for the books! šŸ–¤

What a year! 146 shows, over 210,000 ticket sales, exciting prospects & successes mixed with our fair share of covid cancellations and postponements... but ultimately an awesome year of learning on all sides. It's great to be back to pre-covid levels and now to correct the set back of the pandemic and take everything up multiple levels. Well done to all the teams I have the pleasure of working with, from the brand managers and musicians to performers and production teams! The Rock orchestra, festival of the dead, foreverland, the big freshers icebreaker/pass, dazed, destination unknown, spring break amsterdam.

During lockdown, I took on a stinky 6,500 sq ft warehouse in West London that had been used for squat raves and renovated it into our dream home for the MEGA group of companies that now includes; Festival of the Dead, The Rock Orchestra, Dazed Prague, Foreverland, Icebreaker, Spring Break Amsterdam & Destination Unknown. 7 Offices Spaces // Roof Terrace // 2 Work Shops // Rehearsal Warehouse // Canteen .... and a ball pit! Thanks to Scott Mcgreal who did a mind blowing amount of reno work with his team and Con White, Polly Healey, Maja Sabatowska & Simeon Entwistle for coming and helping while the rest of the world was shut down.
