Come as you are to this interactive sound and movement journey, where you are invited to play and express yourself. In the space between stillness and chaos, we find connections and the Echoes Between Us. Come and go as you wish and participate as much as you like. Sit in stillness or follow the flow.

ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a platform for site-specific and inter-artistic performances based on improvisation.
Joel Hynsjö brings his newly developed hybrid percussion instrument, exploring the boundaries between intuition, improvisation, the static and the unpredictable. Through suggestive, repetitive rhythms and expansive soundscapes, the audience is invited to enjoy the long movements of the music, and at the same time let themselves be drawn into the smallest variations.

We aim to create another magical small-scale festival at DansiT to celebrate connection and community through contact improvisation. With the CI festival, ImproDans Trondheim wishes to offer a platform for knowledge exchange and a safe space to explore movements in contact with each other.
Join us from Friday 2 Oktober 4pm until Sunday 4 October 6pm.
This year we are looking forward to workshop by Johanne Hofseth, CI Basics with @ingeborg.sanders , Contakids with @mariangellg , open jam with live music by @davidmagyel , Water Contact with @anna_thu_schmidt , CI-Lab for collective co-creation and Open Stage with @praxistrondheim .

Sliding scale: 2000-3500 NOK including all workshops, snacks and warm lunch. We offer a sliding scale ticket system that allows you to pay according to your financial situation. By paying more you make it possible for others to pay less.
