Welcome to ‘Echos Between Us’ by @improdans.trondheim Saturday 25.4 kl 12-14 at @verkstedhallen as part of Multiplié dansefestival ✨ Come as you are to this interactive sound and movement journey, where you are invited to play and express yourself. In the space between stillness and chaos, we find connections and the Echoes Between Us. Come and go as you wish and participate as much as you like. Sit in stillness or follow the flow. Free event 💫 ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a platform for site-specific and inter-artistic performances based on improvisation. Joel Hynsjö brings his newly developed hybrid percussion instrument, exploring the boundaries between intuition, improvisation, the static and the unpredictable. Through suggestive, repetitive rhythms and expansive soundscapes, the audience is invited to enjoy the long movements of the music, and at the same time let themselves be drawn into the smallest variations. In between… A beautiful summer started with yoga and dance with the elements at the beach as part of the festival Dramateure by @vorpommersche.landesbuehne and a seminar in dance improvisation as part of the dance teacher training @lag_tanz_mv and ended yesterday with the last day retreat “Faszination Monochord” at the @feeltone_instruments seminarhaus. 🌊💙 Now transitioning to an autumn full of dance in Trondheim: Welcome to UNFOLD a one-on-one sensory journey between the city and the fjord with @krokkusen from 20.8-3.9.Link in bio! @improdans.trondheim is hosting several Sunday Jam’s, Water Contact at Pirbadet and the third edition of the Contact Impro Festival in Trondheim 3-5.10. Don’t miss out! This semester I am sharing the course in contemporary dance @samtidsdansforvoksne with @ranneigrenne Tuesdays 8pm at DansiT - starting tomorrow! UNFOLD What is it like to experience dance without seeing? We live in a world that focuses heavily on our dominant sense: sight. UNFOLD is a one-on-one sensory journey between the city and the fjord that offers alternative ways to experience and be in touch with the world around us. The performance focuses on encounters through touch and movement, and you decide how actively you want to participate. We are super excited to share this interactive performance experience for people with partial or total vision impairment or who are blindfolded in August/September 2025. We want to offer a safe experience where the audience can explore the area at Brattørkaia through their senses and let their imagination unfold. To participate, you must register. Blind and visually impaired people will be given priority. Sighted participants will be assigned blindfolds. Blindfolds are optional for visually impaired people with little visual orientation. Inspired by the playful interaction and curiosity of our young audiences during several performances of @how_to_read_water we created the children’s performance ‘Havet’ that we are performing now for 300 kids for @dkstrondheim 🌊🐚🪸 Join us on Sunday 11.5 kl 16 for an open family performance at the best venue in town @kunsthalltrondheim 🤩 Welcome to Havet – an interdisciplinary dance installation and family performance for children aged 4–6. Dive into a world inspired by the ocean, in a performance that blends dance, music, and video installations, where everyone is invited to take part. Children can explore the theme of the sea through dance improvisation inspired by the reflections of water, create stone creatures on our pebble beach, explore the sound of water sculptures, and make music using natural elements. They are also invited to “dive underwater” in an interactive play with video and shadows. We aim to create an open space where children can engage with and explore the theme of the ocean through a playful approach. We are thrilled to present ØYA ~ lydstrømmer at not just one but two amazing festivals in Trondheim! 🤩 Come and experience our interactive moving soundscape at @kunsthalltrondheim during Multiplié dansefestival on Friday 28 March 2025 from 6-8 pm and during Only Connect on Friday 11 April 2025 from 5-6 pm at @lkv_lademoenkunstnerverksteder . ØYA ~ lydstrømmer focuses on tactile and visual encounters with sound, which makes it especially accessible for people with impaired hearing. I am super excited about this new collaboration with @oyvindbrandtsegg and about exploring the field of music technology within the project @improdans.trondheim together with @tomasvikeland and @joel_vide ✨ Join us on a two hour journey next week where you get to explore movements, sounds and the material after the performance.
