Celebrating 17 years of Foxy Locks 🥂
Foxy Locks might be my brand, but in so many ways, Foxy is me.
What started as a little dream in my bedroom became something I could never have imagined. A brand worn by women all over the world, built on my love for beautiful hair, confidence, transformation and making women feel amazing.
But I can tell you something honestly. It has not been easy…
I know Instagram shows the pretty parts. The frills, the glam, the good hair, the wins. But behind the scenes, I’ve had years where I’ve been fighting just to keep standing.
I’ve lost people. I’ve been let down. I’ve trusted the wrong ones. I’ve had heartbreaks in business and in life that I never saw coming. And the last few years have tested me in ways I can’t even fully explain. I felt close to giving up.
Owning a business isn’t for the weak. The economy has been hard. Running a business has been hard. Keeping going when you feel like you’re carrying everything on your own has been really hard.
But here we are. 17 years later.
Still here. Still Foxy. Still believing in the brand I created from nothing.
So thank you to every single customer who has ever bought from us, supported us, recommended us, shared us, or believed in this little dream of mine. You believed in me.
It means more than you’ll ever know.
And honestly, if I’ve had to fight for my life over here, at least I’ve had good hair doing it 🖤
One thing about me, I will romanticise my birthday every single year.
Grateful for another year, for the people who love me properly, for my peace, for everything I’ve built, my customers, and for the little moments that make life feel beautiful again.
And obviously, grateful for chocolate cake 🖤
