I’m generally full of 5 shades of hype when boosting the shows I play, and of course tonight’s eDance floor will be a proper whomp as per the illoom flavor. Embedded in that will also be a deeper theme. I have something special for those of you who need to process some grief and/or release some burdens. I know i do.

Founder of Liquid Dubwise, one of the longest running dubstep nights in North America, he keeps his city on the cutting edge of subwoofer culture. illoom always brings a fresh take on the music and new tunes every time. Illoom’s sound is defined by high energy, sultry basslines, frequent references to Roots and Dub, Ultra fast mixes and mash-up’s see well over 30 tunes blended on the turntables in an hour, in a seamless progression that, well, makes perfect sense. @wasatchcommunitygardens Spring Plant Sale is this weekend! I’ve been quiet on the socials over the last couple of months, as growing the seedlings for this sale is a BEAST. This year we’re growing over 49K certified organic seedlings, including over 70 different types of tomatoes and over 40 types of peppers. There is love, intention, and a quiet revolution behind each and every one of these plants. It would be my great honor to some find their forever home in your garden this year. April is absolute mayhem in the greenhouses for this guy, but work hard play harder is how I design my life. I’m stoked to be playing tonight to support Atlantis on one of my favorite soundsystem’s in town. Illoom at 12:30. Hope to see you there.

Yeeeehaw, another edition of @building.man.festival at the Jenkstar Ranch is on the horizon! I absolutely love this festival, it's a highlight of spring for my crew. What little eco / health wins have you had lately? I’m planting three more fruit trees in my yard (Ziggy is STOKED for the Saturn Peach), and I finally phased out plastic cutting boards in my kitchen (so much duh). Here’s a photo of my mysteriously dwarfed, 8 year old peach tree. It has NEVER been pruned, look at that beautiful shape!

I’m looking forward to another edition of ROOTS this Sunday at the Salt City Sanctuary. I’ll be dropping a Dub sermon alongside my boy Prophet and special guest tba. This is my kind of church, and the sacrament can’t be beat.
