2025 marks our fourth year hosting the bike stage at the legendary Newport Folk Festival. The stage includes 10+ intimate performances throughout the weekend, powered by bike and solar energy. 2025 also marks our ten year anniversary as a band and we want to push the boundaries of what we’ve done in the past.
Come bike with us 🤘🏼 Each show will include a group bike ride roughly 1-2 hours before the performance. We hope to see you on the Road to Newport. Additional info at the link in bio 🚲

It’s dangerous to put Illiterate Light in a box, especially with their 2024 album, 'Arches'. Are they a guitar-driven indie-rock duo? Kaleidoscopic neo-psychedelia? Synth-kissed, harmony-laden folk? Singer-guitarist Jeff Gorman and drummer Jake Cochran have always been musical shape-shifters, and the farmers-turned-rockers have captured the energy of their live shows—fans crowd-surfing, moshing, crying, and crooning—and infused it into their latest release. Expect to see Gorman on one foot, hammering bass on a foot-pedal synth, shredding guitar riffs, and spitting out song after song while Cochran matches him harmony for harmony, dancing with his standing drum kit and teetering on the edge of the stage.
🗓️: Full Schedule out in April. #FolkFestHappy
