3rd attempt — and only 6 years behind schedule but finally made it to my dream island🇱🇰
Came for waves & animals. Got wiped out, fed like royalty, swam with turtles, casually dodged a shark or two, and got very familiar with reef surfing 🌊🐢🦈
Caught sunrises on early bird hikes, made friends with some seriously cute animals, and got stared down by monkeys 🐒🐶🐘
The landscapes? Ridiculous.
The food? Spicy chaos.
The vibes? Unreal.
And the sunsets? Don’t even get me started!
Expectations were high — somehow, Sri Lanka still overdelivered.
Left with sore arms, a full heart, a roti addiction and way too many photos!
Mentally not leaving anytime soon 💚🧡💛
