for anyone that’s been following my journey, y’all know how much of a ride it’s been. from hustling in the projects, to getting signed, to begging for my freedom & asking to be let go, to parting ways with a team, & rebuilding everything with just me & my friends. y’all only know the surface, but trust me…ya girl was being tested left n right lol. but even through this process, i found my creative family, locked in on my sound, & healed while making this project.
“uhm…ok?” is a mindset. for the moments life don’t make sense, when people throw wild energy your way, or when you just keep getting knocked down…sometimes the best response is, “uhm…ok?” & keep it moving 🐢

wanted to give y’all a deeper look into my life & where i grew up 🥹 i was born in a homeless shelter & raised in the projects - places where, statistically, we’re not “supposed” to make it out. this mini doc is for my day ones & for anyone just finding me, so you can see the journey & understand where i come from. no matter your circumstances, no matter how little you had growing up, you’re allowed to dream big, & you’re allowed to chase it. this is just the beginning of my journey, & i can’t wait to keep growing with y’all 💚🐢 FULL DOC OUT NOW on my @youtube oh & my project “uhm…ok?” also OUT NOW ✨

no one prepares you for this type of pain. no words can explain how much i miss you.
the purest, smartest, strongest, and most charming man. thee definition of aura. anyone who ever had the privilege to meet my dad or even speak to him knows how he could light up an entire room and touch so many lives.
no matter what we were going through or what life brought us, you were always happy and positive. you always had the answers. you always told me to live life to the fullest, no matter what the circumstances were. i’ll forever be in awe of your mind and the way you saw life. no matter how much i worried or overthought, you would smile and remind me that life is beautiful. if i can think even 10% the way you did, i’d be happy.
i’m still trying to understand what life looks like without you. i’m still trying to make sense of it all. anyone who knows me knows how deeply i love my family. i’d drop everything and anything for them, for you.
i love you. i’ll carry your lessons, discipline, morals, and memories with me every single day. i promise to continue making you proud and to take care of the family. we love you more than words can hold.
