@ikk3z Ikkez kommt aus Rostock und ist seit 2006 ein klassicher Junglehead. Groß geworden mit Skateboards und HipHop, hatte er schon immer eine Affinität für allerlei Kopfnicker-Beats und filigrane Fußarbeit, welche sich auch in seinen steppigen Sounds und rollenden Passagen wieder spiegeln.Für ikkez ist Drum’n’Bass nicht nur feinste Hörkultur, sondern zugleich ein ausgiebiges Workout bei dem alles zählt, nur nicht stehen bleiben. Gepackt mit golden Old School Jungle, harten TechStep und Neurofunk sind seine Sets meist eine bunte Mischung aus bekannten Hymnen und neuen Klängen, die stets überraschen und für jeden etwas bieten. Thematisch könnte man meinen es klingt ein wenig wie das Scheppern auf der Stubnitz - unterstes Deck, eine Schippe BassBombUnit aus alten Zeiten und eine Prise neuster Uploads auf UKF. Seine Sets haben Tracks mit Charakter, eine kickende Substanz und Phasen der Eskalation.
