- low-stim setup - dimmed lights/headlamp, door closed, minimal convo/silent appt
- breaks on your timing — bathroom, snacks, meds, stretches, no justification needed
- health transparency — share what you’re comfortable with via email, text, or voice note; it stays always private + just helps me prep the best setup for you

one weekend, 10 hours, and a whole lot of trust 🌿
this piece was designed 1:1 collaboratively with my client, Izzy. we started with designing the perfect leaves together on procreate, which we would later stencil onto our freehanded flow that outlined the movement and direction of the piece.
after having Izzy spend some time experimenting with the stencils to really lock in the vibe she was looking for, we went ahead and placed the stencils & focused the day on getting those outlines in.
day two was primarily focused on stipple shading to add more depth/texture, and lining out the vine itself, which was free-machined (no stencil, just straight tattoo) to get that organic line texture just right.
the breakdown:
design + stencil: ~2hrs
tattooing: 8hrs
total: 10hrs of collaboration with one very patient, trusting client
hopefully this post gives a bit more insight into how I approach large projects like these, as I know they can be daunting, especially if it's your first larger piece.

PSA: sun fade is the number one way fine line work loses its crispness & blackwork loses its saturation over time.
once a piece is fully healed (usually about a month in), be sure to slap on some SPF every time you're outside, not just when you're out at the pool!
^ I say this from experience of having like 1/4th of one arm burnt rn after a sunny afternoon at a coffee shop where I didn't think SPF was needed lol...
personally, I keep Blue Lizard SPF 50 on hand, because it's dermatologist-trusted, ideal for sensitive skin, and provides all the protection without chemical filters like some competitors!
save this for summer and send to your tattooed friends who might need a reminder!

Whether you have a custom idea, long-term project, or want to grab one of my flash designs, booking with me is pretty simple (thanks to @mindyourink !)
First, choose your design, and make sure to have at least 1 reference photo ready to share!
In order to book, all clients must submit a booking form via the link in my bio.
Here, you can upload your idea(s), placement, budget, availability, etc., that way I have everything I need to book you!
Once you've submitted your booking form, please give me ~72hrs to reply. If your request is accepted, you'll receive an email stating so, with payment details to send over your deposit (please be deposit ready!)
Once your deposit is received , I'll confirm your appointment and you're all set!
