I’m so grateful for this new chapter and these are these 7 things I’m taking with me into 2026:
1. Prioritizing Self-care: Choosing more spa days, getting my first facial, rest without guilt, and protecting all dimensions of my health because post-partum recovering is still kicking my behind 😮💨
2. Hitting Pause Often: Slowing all the way down and choosing steady reflection over reaction because no one is chasing me nowwww 🏃🏾♀️
3. Seeking Clarity: Being intentional about my direction of travel and being clear on what deserves my time and attention because 24 hours is all I can possibly have in a day ⏰
4. Investing in Friendships: Nurturing and pouring into the ones that feel safe while building new ones that align with my energy because there’s plenty of Ijay to go around 😉
5. Sitting in Deep Faith and Gratitude: Drawing close to God and trusting His plans and staying thankful in every season because I will forever be His girl. Going to attempt a Gratitude Journal… who’s in?
6. Hanging Up My Multi-tasking Hat (Sometimes…): Being present in every moment with passion and purpose because mistakes can be costly
7. Finally Replying Messages: Not instantly… but eventually, with sincerity and within the month 👀. Sorry to those birthday messages I replied a whole year late 🙏🏾
