Hi. I just wanted to pop in and say hi since many of you are new here.  I’m Isadora, the artist behind the art you see on this page. Some things about me: My bed is always made but my desk is always messy. I love salty food but I have high blood pressure. I love to travel but my favorite place is home. I live in California but was born and raised in Europe. I have a Danish father and a Filipino mother, but don’t speak either language. I’m fluent in Italian and French. I want to be gluten free, but I can’t live without pasta. I’ll pop my face in *occasionally* to share random facts about me. Thanks for following along on my creative journey. I appreciate your support.♥️ . . . . #emergingartist #artistsoninstagram #softminimalism #abstractartist #eurasian #tck

"Out in the Open" one of the new works I'm sharing @collectiveform , curated by Yael @artwolfgallery . This series is all about capturing moments of joy, however simple of mundane. It's about the little acts of noticing the good that ground us in the moment and that help to carry us through more difficult times. I love to go on walks, but I'm not really an out in nature seeking strenuous exercise kinda gal. I'm more about stepping outside my house and wandering, observing. Scroll through to see the inspiration for this little moment. Sill nature, but different. 📍Collective Form Meet the Artist May 5, 2-5pm 767 N La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069 Seen here: “Out in the Open”, 2026 Acrylic, oil pastels on raw linen 36”x36”

This year I’ve often felt overwhelmed by all the darkness in the world. But in order not to succumb to the despair, I chose instead to reach inside and hold on to what is good. Not because joy is easy to find, but because it isn’t. The work I will be showing @collectiveform with @artwolfgallery is part of a series that I’ve started to call “Capturing Joy”. Painted on raw linen, in layers that accumulate slowly, the surface holds more than color. The subtle oil pastel marks vibrate and act like punctuations that compel noticing. In person you can feel the texture of the linen’s weave, the shift in colors of the pastels only visible on close inspection. So, if you’re in LA, I invite you to see this work up close. 📍Collective Form Meet the Artist May 5, 2-5pm 767 N La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069 Seen here: “A Better Day”, 2026 Acrylic, oil pastels on raw linen 36”x36”

I'm honored to have my work included in FLASHLIGHT, Southern Exposure's annual benefit art auction, happening April 17 in San Francisco. SoEx has been showing up for Bay Area artists for over 50 years, and that kind of sustained support for artists matters, especially right now. If you've been thinking about adding to your collection, this is a beautiful way to do it. Over 130 artists are included in this year's auction. Tickets and info at /auction. Hope to see you there. ♥️ "Parting Ways", 2026 Acrylic, watercolor and cold wax on canvas 20"x20"

Isadora Gullov-Singh’s (b. 1973) works are characterized by gentle color transitions, rhythmic lines, and a reduced color palette. Emerging from memories and emotions, they unfold as restrained, meditative compositions. @kalaartinstitute has been an integral part of the Bay Area art community since 1974. From offering classes for adults and children (my family has attended both) to supporting artists through residencies, Kala continues to show up even in these turbulent times. It is my honor to help support their mission. “In Conversation” will be included in their upcoming benefit auction opening tomorrow March 26. The auction features the works of so many talented artists all supporting this valuable cause. “In Conversation”, 2024 Acrylic, watercolor and cold wax on linen 8”x8” diptych (framed in raw walnut)

I’ve been toggling between painting and more dimensional work. Trying new things to see where my ideas take me. Here’s a new 36”x48” that explores the same language as my previous work, but with different materials. The choice of materials always plays a huge role in my practice as each material brings different qualities to the work. #wip
