@sharonestevensdesign Earth Day! 🌍❤️ A day for raising awareness of our impact on the environment and an opportunity for reflection on the ways we can make positive changes in our everyday actions! Nature is a massive inspiration for a lot of us as artists and a great way that we can have a positive impact is to share our work. Art can reach people in a way that is not always possible with science, it can make people feel things, engage their hearts and minds, and inspire and motivate them to appreciate their surrounding world a little more. So today (and everyday) I encourage you to share your artwork and keep our beautiful planet in the forefront of everyone’s minds! There are so many more things we can consider as artists in the way we source and use our supplies, I’ll write a blog post on this shortly, but for today - why not have a go at this little tutorial!

The delivery volunteers were out on bikes, mopeds and in cars 🚲🛵🚙 getting the Bankuet bundles where they’re most needed in the London borough of Islington. ⁣ An amazing effort from the wonderful King’s Cross Food Bank delivery team who have managed to deliver over 50 food parcels to those in need in the past two weeks!
⁣ 🙌 ⁣ This is all thanks to donations from you! You can continue to support their efforts in feeding more people by selecting Kings Cross Food Bank on our Food Bank page, and make a one-off donation or - even better - a monthly donation.
